Where the mountains meet the sea

Pete & I had time to do this wonderful tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park in Ushuaia, South America, before catching the ship to Antarctica later that day. Ushuaia is the southern most city where the ships leave from. Most people (including us) think you would depart for Antarctica from Australia and while you can, it is much further and more expensive to do so.

The park is one of the most beautiful we have seen. There is something pretty special about seeing mountains come right down to the sea. The colourings were beautiful and I actually think this is one of the best landscape shots I have taken. Technically it may lack, but I think the setting exceptional. Hope you like it.
