I caught Taffy playing with a coaster on the coffee table. The afternoon sun through the window brought out the colours in his coat beautifully!

Very nice pose..
Would have been nice to see his face...
Not sure I like the heavy shadow..
A fill in flash could have balanced that out for you...
Well taken on the spire of the moment..

Thanks Dave, The trouble with my flash is I can't adjust the strength - it's either all or nothing (I could have used a shield, but had to be quick - he knows he's not allowed on tables!). I really liked the colours in the sunlight, had I used flash he would have looked totally different.................but I do understand what you are getting at.

I did go into Photoshop E9 and removed the shadow, but it just didn't look right then, so I left it as taken. Smile (If anyone else would like a go, the 'Mod' area is open!)

Not sure Karen, if he is looking at his shadow or the coaster, I quite like this one should have been good for shadow Saturday, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Aw, he's got so big. How lovely he is.
Mine used to love playing with pens or pencils.

Chris: Yes, they adore pens, pencils, plastic straws and they really like grape stalks (you know, the bits left over when you've eaten the grapes) - they'll quickly furkle them out of the sitting room bin! Grin

Have been watching the new Kitten from next door on the hogcam, last night was dead funny as it was the first time it came face to face with Hodgepodge the hedgehog.....It didn't quite know what to do!!

A great shot of a beautiful cat that I am sure is looking at it's shadow.

I think this is a lovely shot, the shadow looks great to me as it is a natural light and a capture of a cat in action.
the curve of taffys back is wonderful.
I like to see pets doing things rather than formally posed. ( I have an extremely stubborn Yorkshire terrier lol )

Mmm. Cute!! That wasn't what I called him when he brought in a live shrew today - he let it go in the hall!!! 3 hours it took for me to catch it and take it back outside!!
