My latest visitor to the garden pond is this gorgeous Emperor Dragonfly - she was trying to lay the next generation.

At one point Taffy managed to capture her, but a quick grab by the scruff and a "No!" later, he spat her out and she flew off (she was back trying to lay within minutes!).

I rarely use my little SX240, but yesterday I shot a few random things with it and realised once again how nice it is.
