I decided to treat myself to a few flowers, amongst them were some wonderful lily buds. One opened over the weekend and I noticed the centers were absolutely gorgeous.
As you can see, I took some 'super macro' shots. I'm wondering if it's too noisy! I've used 'De-speckle' and I used the blur tool, but it still looks quite noisy! (I don't want to use 'Gaussian Blur' because that will lose the freckles).
Any suggestions? ![]()

Noise programmes and plug ins usually do the best job Karen. My mod1 was done with Noise Ninja, - would recommend it, and you can download a trial.
Mod2 is done using a Photoshop filter, depending on which version you have, it might be available, Its under Filer>Noise>Median; applied at at 1 percent on a layer, removed the effect with a mask on the stamens, and this is the result.
Let me know what software you have, and I will see what results I can get using it without add in programmes.
regards
Willie
