The Buckfastleigh Butterfly & Otter Centre is quite small, but packed with both plants and butterflies. The folliage is as big and lush as I'd ever seen it, which made a haven for the butterflies but difficult for us to spot them!
It would have been absolutely perfect if one of the butterflies had its wings open, but they rarely do when resting. The tops of their wings are a stunning iridescent blue!
