I watched this pair for a while, neither was going to give up the flower! As the bee walked around the edge of the flower the ladybird would tilt her elytra (shell) so it protected her feet (I don't know why, but it always seems wrong to call a ladybird 'He'!).
As you can see the bee was tiny and very determined to take all it could! ![]()
