...............The last one! (Butterfly this year, that is!).

Every time I see a butterfly I wonder if it's the last one of the year! This is a gorgeous Red Admiral, though a little past its best.

A beautiful red admiral butterfly Karen, you've captured its colours and wing markings so superbly. If this is the last butterfly you see this year it may also be the first one you see next spring when it emerges from hibernationSmile I haven't seen any butterflies since last Friday when I saw one large white and one red admiral on the outskirts of Gloucester
