Maybe lacking a little in terms of simplicity of composition and visual impact as compared with "Along the Pier" but a fine image for all that.

I too am surprised. This image won a Photographic Society of America Silver Medal at the Bristol Salon where there were over 13,500 entries from 62 countries.
