A good 'fashion' type image - your niece is posing well and the surroundings are good. I quite like the inclusion of the house plant, especially as she is looking that way.

I must admit I'm not a fan of tilted images, but saying that 'fashion' shots are acceptable being tilted. Your focal point seems to be the stripes on the girl's thigh, I think having her eyes in focus would improve the image. Also because of your point of view her foot/thigh look rather bigger then life. Because the background is quite dark, her white sneaker has given you exposure problems and it is rather over exposed.

I realise I've been a little harsh and I really hope I haven't offended you - don't forget all I've written above is my opinion, someone may come in and totally disagree with me! Smile If you are happy with your shot then it's perfect! Smile

I would never, never say 'cr@p'! Smile Every single image has some good point to it - as you took the image this way on purpose then you've achieved the look you specifically wanted, which is brilliant. Okay, it is slightly over exposed - did you focus on the darker colours? There are no 'Exif' details, perhaps if you include these someone with more knowledge can come in and help you with the settings. Smile

I like the image, and can imagine it gracing a magazine as part of a nice set. It evokes new and fresh imagery and ideas.(I appreciate my comments are not really proper critique, but that is probably because I don't feel I can critque it effectively). You can never know what photo's pull the strings for the right people, some images I upload are probably "Technically" ok, but if they lack idea and emotion, no-one likes them and I get the occasional comment / vote. Others have faults, but are more imaginative and get more votes.. I think it is the ideas and composition that are much more important, from that, you can then use the Exif to have "sharpening" of your skills.
