I won't carp over the verticals: this is such a lovely, airy shot of a place I now want to visit!

And it looks so Scottish: straightforward, clean, and worthy, in an entirely attractive way.

Thanks everyone.
It is a wonderful entrance hall (but I still miss the pools of carp) and the the whole place has been recently renovated,

John - I hade considered straighetning the verticles but thought that would probably take away from the 'scale'
