The white cloud cover, forecast for yesterday, never really materialised Sad. This Great spotted woodpecker Dendrocopos major
was taken when a tad of wispy cloud, took the harshness of the bright sunlight, which was filtering through The Coppice canopy Smile
A ladybird decided to sneak in on the act too Wink

There are lots of ladybirds about at the moment, most shots I've taken recently have featured one or more...all looking for good hibernation places I'd guess.
