The Great Spotted Woodpecker (dendrocopos major)

Not quite the intended use of the fork but this GSW decided it was as good a place as any to take a rest for a few moments. Who could blame her.

My very grateful thanks for the most generous response to the Whitethroats. I am very appreciative.
