Loving it, Nick.Great idea. Couple of things - not sure on the stubble field - I would have liked a more surreal hinterland...maybe sand, sand dunes and surely the dice should be double one - snake eyes.
still like it though.

There is something in these images for sure. For me, the PS work just needs to be a little tidier, in this case around the woman herself, particularly at the bottom of her dress and the paving stones.BUT I really do think that you're onto something here. I was in the same frame of mind with chapeau-noir - I liked it and came very close to putting it forward for a PA Award and I just know that you're on the right track with these to really nail them.

DECEMBER WOODS
A very easy photo to get so very wrong. Here, the grad lines have been kept to a minimum without over-egging the stops whilst enough detail has been retained in the setting sun so as not to distract. But this image is all about that bottom third and the beautiful light, shadow and colour across the snow. The saplings peeping through are a bonus and give some detail in the foreground.
An excellent job.
