The hardest thing when taking these photos, is stopping the horrible light flares that these brass candlesticks can give off.
thanks for your time.
Like the light in this Keith.
Disturbing . . .
Haunting yet so very well executed in difficult lighting conditions Keith.
I think a few more people looked and found it disturbing. Which is what it is meant to be after all.
Miss Havisham's attic?
scary and fascinating, .. pretty well achieved a SL
Cheers guys. That's odd, Matt. I'm working on a version right now where Miss Havisham is in the back of my mind. I call it Miss Havisham's Cellar.

And sleeping through the nightmares!
Lol..... I am one though
It's those glass eyes..............
And my false leg that make me irresistible
spooky ! love it. all it lacks for me is dust and cobwebs ,then it would really chill the spine..
A candle for the bedtime reading of those books and your dolly, nice
She'll be under your bed tonight.....
......with a knife.
Cheers guys and yes, some dust would be good.
A tad on the spooky side Keith
I need to look at this on a large screen! I have a similar doll... Obviously throughhanded down to me as I am only 30! Admire your lighting skills Mr h. Are you a professional? Kath
This is scary
Got some dust .......will send you the hoover bag
and I'm still laughing at Cooky being 30...mind you, dementia is hard to argue with.
A bit scary Son but I likes it !
The penny has dropped
It's the narrative the image conveys, not the elements within the image
Yep...its one thing having a bunch of stuff, its another to make connections. Just chucking a few things on a table, is not still life - its chucking a few things on a table, but the elements have to connect with the narrative, they are still very important. All of the elements in this image have symbolism or offer up a story.
With most of your still life's, the opening speech in Shakespeare play as you like it comes to mind.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts! Yet another demented ramble! I am so 30...in my head
"he hath indeed better bettered expectation." - from..........?
Go on or you'll have me googling all night and I really need my beauty sleep
Much ado about nothing.

Darn, I didn't know about that
That is one creepy bloody doll, I keep thinking it's head will start turning round!
