sorry about the scary mug shot, tried a self portrait in a high contrast style , shows every wrinkle so don,t try this on her in doors( really i look 20 years younger than this ha haWink)hope you like

Cripes what a fright! Wink It's a stern pose (or as stern as you get, I can still see a twinkle in yer eye!) so suits the gritty processing. Looks a bit like Dragan style (I think that's the guy's name, who pioneered the look in portraits). Good side lighting with the contrast well controlled and the macro lens has done a great job as a portrait lens. f/20 might be pushing the softer side of the lens but the depth of field is good when you are going for a warts an' all approach, you need the detail. All in all a very strong image very well processed. I bet your 'her indoors' likes it too Smile
