Neist Point last night, after a hail storm with winds of approx 43mph last night at sunset. The red clouds were above when I arrived but they soon blew south!
An awesome landscape, great composition and love the colours
Very nice Jeanie. It was blowy down at Loch Lomond as well.
a real super shot,spot on.
Lovely capture, Jeanie. I've been drenched sitting there only to have the sun emerge and highly photogenic conditions minutes later.
Beautiful clarity and quality Jeanie, lovely composition and color saturation to..John
Stunning composition with the promentary leading into the scene, lovely clarity and colours
Thank you Sam, Colleen, Paul, Billy, Alun, John, Paul and Andy
Paul, its been the same here too... but today has been loads of squalls and no blue sunny bits in between like yesterday. Forecast to be nice and calm tomorrow (fingers crossed!!).
Alun, I was gutted as I arrived 10 mins too late to get the best of the drama there, due to driving through really horrid driving, sideways hailstone along the road from Ose!
Fantastic shot , like the beautiful light and clarity in this image ......
Thank you Ayoob
beautiful shot Jeanie
Bet your sat tonight with that stash of Talisker whiskey hic, hic, hic
Bet it a bit rough their last night, well done on getting a shot, sorry good one at that.
Stunning and great image,love it,
We were above you Jeanie, we had a glorious sunset but no pics
Nice image!! I like it a lot!!
Classic PoV with beautiful colours. I'd be tempted to clone out the moon as I find it a bit of a distraction to the lighthouse rather than an enhancment but otherwise I think this is spot on! Love the movement on the water especially which really conveys how windy it was. I'm impressed you don't have any noticeable camera shake after a 13sec exposure in those conditions; such Jedi skills you have young one!
Super shot Jeanie - I agree with Al above, I would be tempted to see how it looks with the moon cloned out. Either way its a wonderfully exposed and executed image.
A grand sunset vision Jeanie, I hope you had better weather going back down the road from here.
I think you get to Skye even more than I do nowadays.
I just wish I had a UA to give as this deserves a bucket load of them! Terrific
Thank you all for your comments and thoughts on this - all appreciated
