The West Wind Moves.

The West Wind Moves. by Buffalo_Tom

This is an extraordinary image. You feel as if you could almost walk into the scene, such is the excellence of the definition and perspective. I love the beautiful contrast between the smooth, glossy foreground, and the jagged, rustic appearance of the rockface. The misty look of the sky completes the composition perfectly. This really is stunning photography. Thank you for sharing. Smile

I like this. I thought it was a high end hi-fi component at first! The blue tone is very effective, and the lighting creates drama. It's a clever and inventive shot. Sometimes spontaneous shots turn out the best. This is very impressive. Nicely done.

Stratocaster by TrevorB

It's difficult to discover new ways to photograph a guitar, but this is a very inventive and subtle shot.

The lighting is very clever. I like the way the guitar's body seems to fade into the dark background. It's an abstract concept. It certainly caught my eye. Excellent quality of detail, and the lighting creates wonderful effects on the guitar.

This is a great shot. Well captured.

Excellent action shot. Well timed and captured.

Thanks for commenting on my latest image. I try to be different.

Take care,

P.S. - I used to be a fan of rallying. I went to the same school (Lanark Grammar) as the late, great Colin McRae. He was a brilliant driver and my favourite motorsport champion. Sadly missed.

Symmetry by woolybill1

This is a quality image.

The colour definition and clarity of detail is impressive. It's perfectly composed. I particularly like the complexity of interlocking angles and sweeping curves, which add to the technical precision of the shot.

Excellent photography.

Reflecting on the Clyde

I like the panoramic style of this shot. The calm water creates some nice symmetry in the reflections, and adds another dynamic to the image.

Well captured.

Lovely work Ann. Great use of colour and texture.

Hello Eric.

It's been a while since I've commented on your work, but I can see you haven't lost your incredible eye for a shot. This is another clever, inspiring, and unique image.

I love the architecture and perspective of the building. Using the cardboard "barrel" as a frame, creates an imaginative contrast. Great photography as always.

I hope you are keeping well.

Take care,

Hello Ann.

This is an excellent Abstract image. It suits the winter theme very well. Good choice of colours and use of symmetry. I especially like the fluidity of the shapes, which flow around giving the piece a relaxing mood.

The drop-shadow background effect adds to the quality of presentation. It's good to see you continuing with your exploration into Abstract Art, and constantly creating original and imaginative works. Your enthusiasm is an inspiration to us all.

I hope you are well, and wish you all the best for the festive season.

Take care,

Hello Angie.

It's a stunning image. The rays of Sun make such a difference to the mood - especially in contrast to that brooding sky. As always, you've captured the scene perfectly. Your work continues to inspire.

This is wonderful. The sense of scale and depth in the shot are breathtaking. I love the affect of the sunlight on the mood of this piece. It creates a fantastic, and haunting atmosphere.

Amazing clarity of detail and colour. Genuinely brilliant photography.

Excellent clarity of detail in this shot. I really like the grain of the neck (looks like rosewood). The wear and tear from years of playing adds to the feel of this piece. Well captured.

Thanks for the comment on my page.

There's a wonderfully relaxing mood in this image. I love the warmth of those dark, autumnal tones, and the way the light fades in the distance. A beautiful view. Well captured.
