The first piece of Artwork I've done since my mother died. It reflects my state of mind at the moment.

Thank you Bill for your kind comment and understanding. As an Atheist, I try to hope that somehow I will survive this tragedy. Expressing my feelings through Art is especially important for me in the healing process.
Thank you too Julie for offering your words of comfort. I also appreciate your comment on this image. It was a difficult piece to create, but I think it captures some feelings.

ken good to see you are back using your art to express your feelings in this way can only be positive & i expect cathartic. this is without doubt a marvelous piece of art very expressive & like victor says has a very positive nuance that is it is bursting with life perhaps a metaphor for your mother & for you. while we breath we have hope. keep em coming man!
