If you want to experience wild koalas in their natural habitat and stroll through some bushland, Koala Conservation Centre near Cowes (Australia) is a good place for observing those lovely animals.
There are some easy walks through a eucalyptus woodland and you soon see some koalas in their natural habitat.
The koala from Victoria has long, thick fur, is a dark, soft grey, often with chocolate-brown highlights on the back and forearms. Also it has light-coloured ventral side and fluffy white ear tufts.
Koalas spend about 16-18 hours sleeping. When they wake up they generally scratch their bum and a “shower” follows. Best not to be walking under the koala at that precise moment!
