Renault 'day' at Donnington (8-9 Sept2007). Interlude of historic machinery - this one brings back memories of Silverstone many, many years ago..! Taken from the curve leading to the run down to the hairpin - one of the very few fence-free locations....

ANY event where it doesn't rain is worth waiting in traffic for...!

Super image, Good sense of motion as well, I think it was 1985 or there abouts, When I was standing in the Lotus pit at Silverstone, Could have been this very car that was in various bits, Whislt the mechanics did some last minute changes under the ever watchfull eye's of Senna himself........Ah! Great days indeed.....
Cheers Vince..! probably right...we were in the beer tent when it hammered down with rain, stopped and re-started the race so we carried on watching it on a TV in the tent...
great talent still missed!... got a shot of this car in my pf if you care to look!?!....
...edit... sorry its in the challenges under sport F1 shot!
