Good evening folks...
Had a cracking day out on Saturday with Wooly & Janet (Chase)
We went to Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and North Thoresby village as there was a 1940's event. We met some great charactors...and this chap is one of them.He belongs to a group called Northern Forties.They are a UK-based 1940s re-enactment group with a mixture of civilians and military personnel.I hope no one will be offended because he is re-enacting being a German.
Janet and I had a great time riding up and down on the steam train.
I was even sat next to Amos Brearly....who was telling all the delights of the ploughed field!!
(Whilst Janet and I were on the train....two cans of Tango, a cuppa soup...and the largest two double scoops of strawberry ice cream were not harmed by Wooly
)
Thanks for stopping by
C&C welcome

Excellent Alley. Love the slit in the tent, don't ask me why !
By the way; did you know there was a German bomber called a Condor. They were used to attack ships so keep him and his thoughts well away from my folio ![]()
