Wow! I am new to photography so please do not laugh at me but how did you manage to get the ball frozen sharp and in focus. I did a picture of a rugby game and all of my images looked blurry. What would you advise?

Your photography is really fantastic and I hope that one day i may be nearly as good as you are.

Perfect mid-action capture with the ball in frame which is critical to the shot. I would like to have seen a better backdrop than the side of the house with dish and pipes! and maybe a wicket/batsman and/or a fielder or two. It is a team game and he does look a bit isolated.

Yeah it wasn't the best of venue's and the lighting wasn't the greatest only got a couple of shot's was in a rush that day. Rupert it's about shutter speed and getting it at the right moment keep at it and it pays of I'm only a beginner myself.
