took a shot of the moon and then played about with it and some how ended up with this.

It's well work experimenting, that's what digital is all about, from the thumbnail it looked like an aeroplane display (the red arrows, or the red devils in your case). An intriguing image and well worth a few more experiments to see what else you can come up with.

yes i did use the liquify tool
this is the first time i have ever used it (didnt even know what it was lol ) but as i find the best way to learn is to just have a go i started playing around with it and this was what i ended up with

The reason I ask is a photographer, local to me, Called Dianne Owen(she's on ephotozine as Dianne) used the liquify tool on one of her photos, and it has gained national (and possibly international recognition). It's a fairly simply photo of 2 mannequin heads

If the above link is deleted, find Dianne through members' portfolios and click on her website, then click on "The Heads".

Like I said well worth experimenting with those tools that we don't use as they may surprise you!
