Stunning shot, superb detail and lovely colours, beautifully captured.

Lovely colour and very nicely cropped against the black background ... I think the vertical green stem behind the leaf is extra to requirements! It would be a simple job to remove this with the clone tool and then this would be perfect

Irises make a great subject Katie with the lovely purple and yellow colours. I love how the petals have a shimmery quality. You have got a composition here which works very well.
I am with Paul on the focus point though. It would be better to have the sharp part of the petal at the front with the blurry parts behind. A picky point is that it would be better to have a perfect petal to show the flower to perfection. This one has a couple of nibbles taken out of it.
But very nice shot all the same.

Beautiful ... absolutely beautiful, the light and composition is spot on Katie, and the lighting is wonderful, works so well against the black backdrop.
