Excellent shot.

How do you set you wb at Killie? I find auto wb a waste of time, and usually use a preset from the ice. Usually works out about 2100-2200k. There seems to be 2 different types of overhead lighting there.

I usually shoot in RAW on one card and jpg on the other, but usually end up discarding the jpgs and working from the raws

I never managed to make either East Fortune or Leuchars this year. Having seen this, I wish I had gone.

Excellent shot. Spitfire I take it

Guess I'll see this one again during the next few months Rick Smile

churchyard shot

churchyard shot by Sharpman

I quite like this shot. For me it's lacking a little contrast, and needs a little straightening. I would have quite liked if you had taken a step back and shot from slightly lower and got the whole of the gravestone as foreground interest.

columns and caves.

columns and caves. by NeilWigan

I like the composition and light in this. There is just enough detail in the 'frame' to keep that part interesting, but not distracting. Slightly blown highlights in the sky, but considering the variations in light not a lot you can do about that.

I have never been to Cyprus, but it looks a place well worth visiting

Another subject I have never tried and know little about. I do like this, sharp, well composed and good lighting. I need to learn a bit as we have a natural history round in our club competition this year

Mother & Child

Mother & Child by Focus_Man

I spent a bit of time looking at this and wasn't sure at first. The sky sets of the detail well in the mother, which has plenty of depth and detail. I think I'd have liked a little more detail in the child rather than just the silhouette, but in looking again, maybe there isn't much detail to be had. So on balance I like it as it is Smile

Bikers by paulbroad

You can see the joy in their faces Smile I know how they feel as a biker myself. Excellent candid

Early Morning Light

Early Morning Light by Simon_Bull

I like this, the light and the depth created by the lead in is great. Not a crit, bot a figure standing in the door way would have been cool
