Another from last Sunday

Nikon D300s
Nikon 70-200 f/2.8
1/320 s
F5.6
ISO 200
Shot in manual

Could do with straightening a wee bit, but I'd lose the bottom of the wheel from the frame if i did that. This is the full frame shot and not cropped at all. I personally like the composition, head and wheel on thirds and the dust swirl in the empty space lower right. I know there isn't a lot of room for him to 'ride in to' but without cloning in space (and I don't like doing that) it is what it is. It's more about the action pose and different rider style, and will appeal to speedway fans, if not photographers Smile

Light/levels and a little exposure correction about the lighter patches of the riders body done in Lightroom

Thanks for all previous comments. I'm finding them very helpful

I think you have already done the critique here. Yes you could argue that a bit more space on the left would help but I love how the rider forms a diagonal across the frame and his body position is amazing.
Another first class shot that makes me want to go to a speedway race.

This is a great capture ,if it was mine i would crop to the right of the picture.
This would give the effect of giving the bike space to ride into, and i would try a B/W version as well.

Another good shot - leave it as it is. Everything works and the tight crop suits me.
