The manster by Diggeo

The manster

Good tonal range ,not sure on the composition, bordering on minimalist but then going on to landscape and for me it dosn`t quite work--Nearly but not quite.

I might of lost part of the branch in the lake ,my eye keeps going between the two pieces .

Still a really nice shot.

Eye Above by Rebeak

Eye Above

I would try and darken down the lighter areas on the wings especially the nearer one .

Red Deer Stag by SteveMackay

Red Deer Stag

Detail and shot are spot on.

I might crop in from the left to just include part of the tree trunk and let it hold the frame. The empty space to the right of the tree does nothing (imho) to help the image.

Patience is a virtue

Nicely filling the frame however a little static and soft in large areas of plumage.

Beyond the Gate by Trevhas

Beyond the Gate

Hi Tish,
Good explanation on chromatic aberration (Also known as colour fringing)

You mostly get on hrd lines against another colour ---like you rocks Its also common on plane shots.

Good composition but i feel you have played a little to strongly with your sliders.
The blacks in the clouds are too powerful and its making the whites burn out. This needs to be balanced with the ground else you end up with a sky that looks like its been imported into the image as the ground is a little flat and dull.

Eyes in black

Nice detail Anthony

I would remove the 2 small white marks on the veil as my eye goes straight to them.

Friont flower is nice and sharp and you have a good DoF

However i would lose the second flower or add a third as its a little distracting.

Holly by RobertTurley

Nice Robert, the red gives it the punch.

Next time try and pull the dress in at base ( looks like theres something under her dress on the images lefthand side. ).

Detail overload by douglasR

Detail overload

A little bit of a two image shot for me--two well taken shots but my eye dosn`t know if it wants to look at the fore ground detail or the sunset horizon shot.
