The base of the door looks very good. The rest of the door needs something, maybe desaturation would work? I don't like the figure at the top of the door. And I'm not sure the other components work - door in tree and girl in the background. Other than that, a good idea and works well with the strong autumn colours.

I think the background and borders let this shot down a little. The grey is very grey and flattens the shot. Great detail and nicely in focus. The flash has worked well - there's little obvious sign that a flash has been used.
