Taken early Sunday morning after 3 hours sleep and probably still drunk. I'm amazed I managed to focus! Thanks to Bex's for pursuading me and Chris to go funghi foraging.

Nice to see some close up shots amongst the landscapes from the meet, I love the curves in the fungi and the contrast in tones to the leaf.

Wow. That's a bit special. Just shows, you have to be able to see with a hangover and 3 hrs sleep to even think about getting shots like this.

Cheers all! It's great to be back posting - just need to keep the momentum going. As Bex's so kindly pointed out, this was a staged shot as the middle of the shroom was full of debris. Anyway, I like leaves!
Class Ed, it looks almost like stained glass. I don't think I've ever seen a fungus with such patterns/colours, well spotted.
