On the way up Ben Lomond, we were distracted by an interesting little stream. The summit wasn't looking very promising, so I headed off with Ian, Becky, Brian and Robbie for some stream photography.
I was going to convert to B&W but felt it was actually unnecessary. I've added a toned variation to the mods.
Comments welcome.

Woaw Ed what an image so dramatic and very atmoshpheric
))
Sorry I did not seem to find the time for a wee blether regarding the toy bussiness :-(( weekend just seemed to fly past so quick
)
Dave
ps Ed remember if you could to link it in the thread for images from here
) here !!!
I liked the first upload but they both have a mystical quality. K.
Good atmosphere in this Ed and I like that it isn't quite b&w. The little square light patch top left maybe a touch distracting but all in all another quality shot.
Ian
Nice composition and two very effective images Edward. I like them both.
The large version is excellent, Ed. Very mystical.
Cheers, Paul
Oh supurb,
The little touches of colour really lift what initially looks to be a B&W. Love the zigzag composition too.
Chris.
BTW I checked here and there are no DBA jobs going at the mo ![]()
Cheers all - think this is my favourite shot of the weekend.
Chris - thanks but I'm pretty well sorted now.
Ed I just had to sit and look at this for ages. I can hear that spray and feel its iciness .. what a stunner of a shot. You're one of the people converting me to soft water too! those little streams rushing down with just enough detail to make them come alive.
Simply fab.
Hello Edward, sorry I missed you at Loch Lomond, it is fairly local for us so we just had a day visit to say hello to everyone...good exposure on the water and works fine in black and white.
Doug.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
Tony - was great to meet you too.
Suzi - Think I'll pack waders next year!
Doug - sorry to have missed you too. I see you found some amazing scenery.
