I've taken many pictures of the leaves on this plant. This time the late afternoon sun was shining through the leaf which really brought out the texture.
Been a long time since I processed a RAW image outside picasa . . . could say I'm a little rusty. Hope you enjoy my first upload for a while. More to come.

Oh god I've waited for soooo long to say that. 
I absolutely love this image! It's an excellent abstract and I adore the detail. Think V1 has the edge for the sheer 'in your face' nature of it, although the wider view is also very appealing!

V2 i find works best. It's not often I come across a plant macro that works... and i have been looking around a lot - really inspirational!!! You should enter this into the BBC wildlife competition when it comes around again.
