you know when you're trying to have a go with your new lights and get dressed in a bit of net, pose artfully and then the flash trigger doesn't work?

gorgeous...wonderful light, and that touch of red in the background really adds.....it'd work in portrait format as well i reckon, although you always use the 'negative space' very well...
hope you got the trigger whatsit working again (i know nothing of these things..lol)
phil
works well, I like the red above your head and the slightly inquisitive forward bend. Bert
Another great image Jo, I think the lighting is great, and the pose works well, just one minor niggle is the area above youe head, I find that a bit distracting. Just a personal opinion.
Congratulations on your HC, and enjoy your lights.

Hell yeah... Normally I'm wearing heels though... ![]()
This sort of lighting on a female body is just brilliant in my view Jo'. And you've done it perfectly.

great to get an HC on this Jo, nice results with the light.
Something was happening during our shoot the other weekend when the timing of my shot was out with the lights and somehow I prefered the result.
very nice work Jo. reminds me of those paintings of ballerinas. Like it a lot
happy that the flash did not fire. seems so much better without the flash. Like the natural light.
Like the composition with the neg space on the right.
