Something to see all over, like the reflections on the left.

Yes, a very interesting shot and I really like the mono here.
Sorry -- I don't have any recommendations on the PC. Good luck with that -- one of life's necessary evils.

Brighton and it's pier always a treasure trove of images Jo, very good candid. As for PC's we have had a run on electrical breakdowns one being Maggies PC, we purchased a Acer AX3950 and it's perfect. My old tower is next and the freezer went this morningSad

Excellent candid in mono, Jo, and I like the reflections on the left Smile

I just read Ron's comment. I bought an Acer Aspire X3990 last year and I LOVE IT. Core i3 processor (although computers probably come with better stuff now) and 2GB of RAM. I bought a 4GB RAM chip and shoved that in and it runs quite fast. I don't know how much these Acers will cost in the UK, though. Mine cost 350 pounds over here at the time.

Whatever you get, get enough RAM (4GB will be enough)...but you probably knew that already anyway.

A great little slice of life, Jo. If you have a good little man round the corner they'll usually rebuild your old one in no time and save you a fortune.

They always have these shelters at the seaside eh, and they always seem to be full of old people watching the world go by...maybe I'll be one of em soon!

Have you thought about a laptop Jo? I got a reconditioned one from Currys, which has been great really..it was about 350 sovs, a Philips with 4gb of Ram.

It looks very 1960s in mono (If you ignore the price of the beer and pizza!) I think the guy behind the glass adds a lot to the image. They somehow look as if they are waiting for the girls to come by. Wink
