Lol! Old is only ever in the mind Jo and believe me by the looks of this you have a long way to go before you get old! Lol! Mad, mental, weird and utterly brilliant! No point commenting on the skill as it's always top notch but the humour, the idea, the thought and the imagination makes this image totally. I love this. I both laughed and admired at the same time. Brilliant!

Hang in there Jo. I wouldn't be so rude as to ask what "big" birthday is imminent but believe me
I'm enjoying a freedom pass and I still have ambitions of being a guitar god and want to get into the Royal Academy and climb Everest, well maybe not that, but it doesn't matter in the long term how old you are because if you have pazzaz, like you have, enjoy it and pitty the poor souls who haven't.
Clive
p.s I like your photograph

Then Jo if its the next one, you REALLY have nothing to worry about cos you definitely definitely don't look it!!! Good on you!!

The problem with such a hat is that come winter all the leaves drop off and you'd be left wearing a pile of twigs ..... which really would be barmy. Beautiful and wacky in equal measure but you've left me wanting to see a colour version if only for the contrast between the warm autumnal colours of the hat and that powder blue background.

Almost a 'Christ' like image with the crown of thorns, the facial expression gives a haunting, almost painful quality which conveys this to me, either that or your knees are really giving you gip.
Seriously a class image and well deserves the award.

Love the new hat dear and I hear you on the existential-angst-related-to-aging-thing! Just popped in for a quickie and had to check you out. Glad to see you still going strong out here!
