another go at it, not the result i was actually going for in the first place, went off in a different direction slightly, the BG was black but i changed it to green at the last minute and being brave thought i'd post this version even though i think the black might work better really!
put the other in the mods for comparison
not finished with these yet lol

ignore Nic... go green !
;o)
Edit : black looks nice, but it also looks a bit as if the background still has to be filled in, whereas green looks like it already has its background. It looks finished, and with the different shades, it also looks more subtle
Looks very good, It would possibly stand out more on black background but this is still very stunning and eye catching shot.

like this image very much, the green background works very.

This is a great photograph (I wish it were mine.
However, I can't help but think that your model is looking and thinking about something else which is not particularly desireable!

I will sit on the fence & say both. As I think the thought & meaning of the image are the important thing...

nope, this one calls for choosing a side
and I side with Koen, stick with the green.
Good treatment though. like the composition too.
Yes green is good - although the black background in the mod works well, it was not what was intended, and personally I think the green works better, in that it adds colour to the overall image, and doesn't make it look like a void that's missing something, which is what black does.
Wonderful shot
Richard
