sometimes one should just quit whilst one is ahead
may as well upload it for a laugh though eh
Nice idea pulled off well
as a series or individiual they are class.
wow cracking shot like it made me smile
Wonderful - Whistler meets his match.
OK Vermeer meets Banksy then
I have to say ...excellent
They just keep getting better and better...these should be in a gallery...you have GOT to have your own show! Excellent.
Absolutely brilliant again, Jo. These deserve their own stage.
Great imagination and technique.
Wow! Tomb Raider... Are we going to get your Lara Croft?
This is brilliant. I have no idea how you manage to organise all the props and detail but the humour is wonderful and the picture looks great too.
Like this a lot.
Another masterpiece Jo, love the idea and the execution is spot on, keep um coming..
Quote: Wow! Tomb Raider... Are we going to get your Lara Croft?
hahahahahahaha!!!! don't be silly now
and thanks all...
You are ahead are you?
What are you playing at?
Glad the series continues
Great take on Whistlers Mother

Excellent Jo. It does look like a lot of effort but great result.
You got your granny to model for you?
Exits stage left .... at some rate of knots.

Wonderful Jo, I wish I had your imagination.
And your ps skills.
Is that Boticelli on the telly......LMAO Jo these are so good-you should have an exhibition.......jojo
blimey! thanks Jojo for your award
'fraid it's Laura Croft on TV lol
and thanks all...... only been doing these for a laugh & the challenge, didn't imagine they would be this popular lol
looove the set up Jo. impressed with what you manage to do with limited resources/props and a lot of inventivity. But where do you get all those clothes on such short notice ?
slight criticism here for the texture on this. Find it just a tad too much. hard to pin point, but it doesn't feel really right here. But perhaps it's a size thing and doesn't fully show the finesse at this size.
So err... what's with e2 ? did your check bounce ?
lol i dunno what happened with the E2 but it's all back to normal now
the clothes? i used to do a bit of sewing etc & i keep bits of fabric, eg that dress is really one small dress plus a big piece of black material plus two t-shirt sleeves, the hat is a made of a bit of old petticoat lol
and the texture is quite heavy eh
Outstanding piece of work. Have contacted the National Portrait Gallery for you.
these really are amazing pieces of work jo, they deserve a wider audience really.....this one is brilliantly set up, funny as well..
deeserves all the plaudits it gets.....top marks for your seamstress skills also lol
WELL DONE MY PICTURE OF THE DAY
Masterful. They should have their own hanging space in a gallery.
LOL - depicts hidden desires
Terrific Jo and a cracking series of images these have been
a very well thought out shot Jo. Love the whole concept. And don't ever quit!
P.S. Have a great weekend.
