thanks for looking
The colour version works extremely well.
I like the very dark tones of it, and the subtle light, vey well done kitsh
Well, I thought the B&W version was fantastic, but the desaturated colours here really gives it a little something extra IMO.
Ya know, I go around bare-foot on my old wooden floors too, and I'm constantly pulling bloody splinters out o' my toes....
I like the composition and the dark tones in this image.
slightly dark perhaps but I suspect what you intended, a good compositon.
Prefer this version, but only slightly. Both very good. Mike
Both are valid images Jo, both excellent. Ron.
This is quite beautiful.
Usually I always prefer B&W but I think this pic works just as well in colour.
Fantastic series of pictures.
Super subtle image, love both versions.
The hint of colour helps this a lot, as does the extra little touch of light on the hair.
And this one is excellent as the last.
Love this too.
The best yet Jo. Really like those washed out colours.
Neither one nor the other.
One is B/W - the other colour and both have their own merits and stand up equally in their own world
Excellent.Love the natural light and lack of colour in this.
thanks everyone for FB
i thought the mood was reflected differently in colour but probably just a personal thing BW v colour eh :-0)
Personally I like both versions Jo, but I have to say - with those desaturated colours, this one works better for me.
I think this is excellent and I don't want to compare the different versions. Being a little lighter and being able to see your face seems to change the mood of the whole picture.
Agree with the general consensus that this is a great image.
The difference between the b&w and this is mainly in the fact that your face is missing in the former. I prefer this desat one because there is a wistful expression visible.
Nice sp Jo. I've just realised that I've been looking at most of your images "in the dark", having just bumped up the brightness & contrast to max there is a load more detail visible. I'll have to drop it back down now, eyes getting burnt!
A very good portrait Jo. I think the dark adds to the mystique and drama of the shot. I like it.
Everything had been said. Nothing else to say but I love it.
Ditto same as Glenn
prefer this one over the previous as in this is better composed and I like the washed out colours too.
well done Jo
fantastic emotive shot
thanks all and thanks Pete!
