Incredible eyes. They really draw you in and I like that the toning is so muted so as to let that feature be dominant.
On his left eye (our right) the sclera looks a little too uniformly one colour and the line between that and the iris feels a little too heavy - perhaps slightly less to make it look a little more natural. The outer corner of his other eye perhaps needs a little twiddle too.
Mind you, saying all that, overall this is such a beautiful portrait, and beautifully done.
Good shot of Matt, i prefer the toning in this, but overall like the comp more in the 2nd shot.
I can see the eye thing, but it doesn't really detract from the image for me. Viewed large it's less noticeable. You must live in the land of fabulous models.
its cool I like it loads I luv the high lighting angle in this shot and the crop - super expression also... did he get to keep the coat ;-o)
He does have nice eyes, doesn't he... You seem to have softened him up compared to the previous upload, or was that one beefed up? This one appeals more to my maternal side ![]()
Jo this one in particular looks so 60's and thats not a bad thing at all
