...go your own way
(edit: i don't normally say.. but this does view better large imo )
very fine image, there is a warmth in the color shot that is really appealing. 2 great versions though.
Love it, v1 is my favourite but only just!
I love the wall/effect also
superbly done.....I like both versions
love the mono jo
I marginally prefer the colour version, super shot.
Both versions are superb. Difficult to choose between but I think the BW has the edge and shortlisted.
I could not choose between the two versions....
V2 he looks like he is trapped in cell. The Count of Monte Cristo comes to mind
Brilliant image and very photogenic
Superb Jo .
Excellent shot. Like v1 best, but like the intense colour of his eyes in v2. Tracey
what a corker Jo, love the light in this shot, superb processing got to be V1 for me, v2 has some strange "blooming" that detracts from the shot. Noiiiiiiiiccce.
Going for both...great work.
V1 definately...it almost has a religious feel to it
top class jo
V1 for me Packs more punch.
Excellent mono portrait, full of drama Jo. Ron.
The colour one has, but only by a whisker as the colour is nice and subtle
V1 for me - superb work.
What a cracker - even his freckles match the wall
thanks very much all for comments votes etc
Love the mono. Great use of space.
excellant portrait....like both versions
ooooh i like this! V1 has a great vibe to it, the lack of colour suits the pose and the expression, almost haunting in a way.
Nice pic and V1 does it for me, feels very emotive, nice compostion and background texture works so well, nice one!!
OOeerr-that is so brill Jo, love the space and the longing gaze...V1 just gets it over V2 but only just!....jojo
Very theatrical...and extremely good
full of drama..great use of the space.....superb!!!
As in Ben Drew ?
Fab shot Jo, love the bw version
editorial recognition cannot be far off.
superb lighting and the back ground isn't bad either.
both versions are great and have difficulty choosing which one I would prefer.
surely an image worth waiting for.
mono suits it best, love the textures of the wall behind, and the light reflecting on the small hairs looks fab
Very handsome. Will we be seeing any fine art male nudes?
Lucy (we live in hope)
(well, sort of... Lucy lol)
Wow! Fantastic shot!
It's all about this gorgeous lighting, textures, intriguing face and expression and great crop, so either version for me.
and thanks Pete!
B&w is striking - like an Italian sculpture.
The lighting is superb too; congrats on the HC.
Wowwww, awesome light and pose, love both, b&w/color!
both go well, but V2 has more warmth or emotion (if thats the wording).
