another fellow student... Shameem is a teacher by day Smile
probably better if she had been looking at me but i only got half a dozen shots & mostly she was laughing ( but she didn't like those lol )
i decided to add colour to the (grey) bg with the texture, tried to match with a colour on her broach

The background texture works really well. I don't think it's a problem that she's not looking at the camera, since you've composed with plenty of space in the direction she's looking in. She looks a bit wistful; a laughing one would make a nice contrast.

A wonderfully appealing photograph with an air of mystery and whimsy. I love the fact that she's looking back over her shoulder and not at the camera - it certainly makes the viewer wonder why....

I am late to see this one - but to me this is truly interesting - I think the over the shoulder look is particularly good, making a voyeur out of the viewer onto a captured in time moment...
