Large version recommended. The so called 'normal' version strongly advised against
Model : Martin (and he wasn't really nude)
feel free to comment & critique
Magnificent in every way, though I agree about the 'Normal' version. It does absolutely no justice whatsoever to the perfect DOF.
Beautifully composed image.

Looks Pro..the dof is excellent
This is brilliant, I just love the attitude in that pose. The eyes are also amazing!
Beautifully focussed and I love the lighting and processing. Very strong portrait, intense expression.
This guy could make a career out of modelling I'm sure if only he could come to the UK and meet a decent photographer, the sharpness around his chin and the sudden drop off to blur gives a slightly 3D effect which makes me unable to decide if it looks great or weird like his head was attached to his hand and added after as a layer? not sure? but hey more good than bad so have a click.
Great portrait, love the desaturated look and the dof you have created, superb-how are you getting on with those suspenders!...jojo
like the pose...a great model
This model is becoming famous. I like the shot and the depth to the model's eyes. I see someone who has lived a hard life. I see someone who has grown up in a broken home with strife. I see someone who knows the depth of life through hard knocks. Determination, ambition and a will power to change circumstances. All that in one capture.
wooo great model and this a very cool shot!
looks fabulous large

very different to your normal stuff.. like it a lot
Love the processing on this , with very strong eyes.
another excellent portrait Koen and congrats on the HC
Fantastic Koen and I echo the comments above that the dof really adds to this shot. Bryan
Bit of a James Bond Baddie I think.
You sure haven't lost your touch Koen! Gritty and full of extreme detail. I hope all is going well for you.
thanks for the additional comments. Good to have you back Patrick
and cheers Fred, always good to have'm look funkier
Lovely portraiture, he has really given you a fine set of shots which you have made into great images. Fine work.
Love this loads, Koen.
I wish I'd taken this series Koen
Thanks Neville and Nic, and thanks Milla for the UA. bit surprised this does so well. thought it might be a bit too 'conventional' for that
Missed this .... frecklin' good.
Gorgeous detail Koen...love the model.
Love the tones in this, wonderful expression.
A very striking portrait.
Having been to the national portrait exhibtion today and getting a feel for what they like, I urge you to enter next year with this shot or similar. You must get a large high quality print made. As you are in Thailland if you send me the file I'll get it printed and enter it for you. Its so right..........
oh, thanks for that Martin. So surprised you even remembered and cared.
will contact you over the weekend
I never forgot a great photo.
