Large version recommended. The so called 'normal' version strongly advised against
Model : Martin (and he wasn't really nude)

Magnificent in every way, though I agree about the 'Normal' version. It does absolutely no justice whatsoever to the perfect DOF.
Beautifully composed image.
Cheers,
Janet
Beautifully focussed and I love the lighting and processing. Very strong portrait, intense expression.
This guy could make a career out of modelling I'm sure if only he could come to the UK and meet a decent photographer, the sharpness around his chin and the sudden drop off to blur gives a slightly 3D effect which makes me unable to decide if it looks great or weird like his head was attached to his hand and added after as a layer? not sure? but hey more good than bad so have a click.
Pooch.
This model is becoming famous. I like the shot and the depth to the model's eyes. I see someone who has lived a hard life. I see someone who has grown up in a broken home with strife. I see someone who knows the depth of life through hard knocks. Determination, ambition and a will power to change circumstances. All that in one capture.
Great shot!
Kevin.

Thanks Neville and Nic, and thanks Milla for the UA. bit surprised this does so well. thought it might be a bit too 'conventional' for that
HI Koen
Having been to the national portrait exhibtion today and getting a feel for what they like, I urge you to enter next year with this shot or similar. You must get a large high quality print made. As you are in Thailland if you send me the file I'll get it printed and enter it for you. Its so right..........
oh, thanks for that Martin. So surprised you even remembered and cared.
will contact you over the weekend ![]()
