Had a great weekend out with Janet at the Steampunk weekend in Lincoln. Was great to meet up with Bill (Stevenb) and to bump into Pete & "K"
Thanks again Bill for letting me know about this event and introducing us to Liam & Rebecca...what a great couple.
What nice, polite and interesting people we met....and their out of this world outfits.....
They had stalls selling all-sorts of all-sorts....Janet ordered a pair of tripod heels!
superb in every way Alley!
Quite excellent, full of intrigue, and I have a user award to give.
Thanks for stopping by Jo & Mavis....and thanks to you both for giving me your UA ...means a lot
you are very welcome, if it doesn't get an EC i'll eat my hat :-P
Excellent as always Alley
This is a stunner! What a fabulous face and sooooo well captured
Up front with immense Impact for a power driven Image ~ Thats the way to do it...
Top Marks Mate
He should have gone to SpecSavers in my opinion.
Well I am in a right niggley, tell it as it is sort of a mood today Alley so I will say that this is good but not EC material. Lol but I'll no doubt be proved wrong by that Pete bloke soon.
Nah, for me the background is too busy above the hat rim and to the left of the frame (especially that orange jewel thingy) .... a wee bit distracting perhaps.
Hope you don't mind the honest opinion
I must say I agree with Dave.
The bg is too busy.
And the OOF glasses at the front just too dominant.
Thanks.....folks....always appreciate your time...and Dave your niggles!
I like the b/g ....its 18th century graffiti actually.
A great expression on Liam's face here Alison & the graffiti behind him is so in keeping with this image.
I quite like the OOF glasses, they just give an extra sense of depth here for me.
Nice bit of PP work Mrs.Catz !
Them tripod heels work a treat
The best Allie - can't fault it.....more to come????
Worth all the acolades Alley, close up and personal. Ron.
Pleased to make it 30
A CRACKER +++++
Tony: Thanks very much for your UA....means a lot to me
Hey Jonah....thanks very much indeed for the GEA
Well done Alley good use of the background
Please you both had a good weekend
For once I don't agree with DaveU The background is the intrigue and his eye zooms out and captures you.
Thanks Bill and Mavis.....
Well I'm totally flummoxed here. Steampunk? Tripod heels? Maybe I should get out more. Anyway, apart from that orange jewel thingy what DaveU was on about, I quite like the busy b/g - loads to look at.
Love this one Alley, what a fantastic character shot! I Should love to have gone to this event, is it on every year? My congrat's for your well deserved awards
Fabulous depth and details great shot.
