Took this today whilst dodging the rain. I decided to play and experiment with the black & white filters and sliders on CS3. I have never done this before so this will probably bomb but all comments welcome as always.

Large for more detail if you have the time, thanks for looking.

I think you have done a good job converting to black and white, I like him in colour myself, but that is just personal choice, Jason is a good looking dog whatever the colour.

I am not really a fan of B&W but I do like what you have achieved with this shot, well done. (still prefer shots of him in color but thats only my humble opinion).

Black and white pictures are an acquired taste, with no colour to distract the viewer they sometimes work better and this portrait works really well for me. Maybe a touch more contrast - Iím not sure. One thing I am sure of is - this is a smashing portrait with nice mono tones and lovey catchlights in the eyes. Well done.
