Haven't been around much due to workload and tiredness..... and I think I have the dreaded 'block' nothing seems to work and nothing seem right!!! So i've delved into the archives hoping an upload will give me the kick i need..... this kaffir was picked from the garden and photographed in natural light against black b/g.
Hope everyone is keeping well and avoiding the dreaded winter bugs that seem to be doing the rounds.

This is stunning Karen, and so professionally finished, as all the other have said, "beautiful" Adrian
The presentation, composition, the exposure and the colours are beautiful. However, the photo doesn't really work for me because the most prominent element is that big petal in the centre, which is out of focus because of the shallow depth of field. I found myself hunting around for something that was in focus so I could look at it closely and there's only really the lower-right petal, the stem and the anthers, none of which is a natural place for the eye to settle.

Works for me and the presentation is stunning. Sandra
Ah, I get the 30th click.

A rather unusual angle but it does it for me. Great presentation.

I am of the same mind as Marilyn...it is an unusual angle, but it works really well.
Fabulous colour & lovely presentation.
