An experiment i tried on Saturday thanks to DCmag but failed due to lack of 'light'.... after asking for help along comes Grainge (G73) to the rescue armed with his maglite and hey presto..... apple and pear still life lit with a maglite and a layer added to add texture. Not sure if it works but a first attempt so any C&C would be appreciated.

I so love the effect you have created.
The colours are really lovely, as are the reflections & composition.
I think I would have preferred it with the flash just toned down on the apple, but that's another learning curve.
Look forward to more.

Great technique and you've pulled off the lighting really well. Only thing I'm unsure about is the texture as (in my view) it doesn't add anything ... but others have said differently so just a personal view of course. Enjoyed catching up on your PF this morning.
