Another pic from my travels this time taken overlooking Robin Hood Bay... I've seen some great seascape pics on EPZ of this beautiful place and wouldn't know where to begin so I took the 'easier' way and after huffing and puffing my way up the hill to leave the bay, I stopped to admire the view and stood for quite a while until the 'path was clear' and snapped away..... because I wanted to bring out the textures in the building more I did a tonemap in Photomatix and a selective colour on red/greens.

I decided to brave it and let you see the original before I manipulated it..... not sure whether I should have tweaked and left photomatix alone or not.. .but i'm still learning away from my flowers so any comments welcomed.

Thank you for viewing and also for the response to yesterdays upload, Josh has been 'watching' and was really pleased other people appreciate 'moggies' too Smile....

Hope you all had a good w/end...

Karen Smile

Visited here and a had a coffee at this cafe when on holiday in Whitby a few weeks ago - it wasn't this quiet! Like the treatment, which has brightened it up.

It certainly brightens the place up. Very familiar scene, having dragged myself up here with tired children over many years.
I really like it
Helen
