Really love your gallery, so many great shots, and this is another one.

Love the shot, a little plastic looking for my tastes, not meant to be offensive, just giving an opinion as you requested.

Love the scene, its always been a favorite of mine with the hay bails at harvest, and this one is very well done, beautiful color and selection of your perspective. Thanks for sharing.

Cool crop, great for a long print to frame and hang.

I like V2 also, the lens looks like its sharp to me, just for the theme of two heads are better than one you might have wanted both heads sharp with DOF. I haven't seen a Heron this year, much less being lucky enough to get something interesting like this. A really cool shot.

Would like to see this larger.

My yellow lab is 9 right now and I already dread the thought of being without her, so I am sorry for your loss. It is a pity such wonderful creatures live such short lives, they seem to be more deserving of life than most humans. Bosco looked like a sweet dog.

Do you always talk about yourself as if your someone else? Seems like there would be a better way to drum up some business. Kloid thinks you should try monster.com Smile

One other thing sax, its alot easier to see something after the fact, I make alot of fundamental mistakes, and I have to highlight "mental", in regards to the previous statement. I am just a beginner in taking anything seriously with photography. This site is great for seeing the photographs you have taken and why they are not the photographs you want them to be. If you see something that is similar to yours, but you feel is much better, ask questions, everyone here is pretty damn nice, and willing to share info. So if you dont get the comments your looking for, dont be afraid to ask. By the way, Canada is awesome, such a beautiful place, I have been to the boundry waters a few times, paradise and great fishing.

Oh and P.S., always use the Photomatix image to make the image you will be using, so make one for emailing, one for the web, one for epz, all from the original image. Don't keep resizing and sharpening from an already resized image. Hope that makes sense and that I am not telling you too much you already know, just trying to be helpful. I screwed up a nice sunset I had on here by resizing it a few times, I didn't notice until I already posted it here.

I like what you were trying to do with this, however next time you could try a lower angle by getting down closer to the boats level, that way you get a little skyline in there. After resizing then you can always do a sharpen. I use Irfanview or photoshop, most of the time, Irfanview is great for resizing and sharpening, and its free. This would be a nice shot to use a 10mm-20mm lense if you have one.
