The Three Sisters photographed from Echo Point Lookout at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains in the pre-dawn light of a new day. The previous day's bushfire has left a haze over the valley which the first light of day gives an ethereal effect.

I took a rather bland, straight forward shot of these in the mid-afternoon sun... this is magical, lovely sunrise and the haze adds great atmosphere.

Thanks Dave and Umberto. It was pretty chilly but well worth it. I'll also upload one of the shots I took on the previous sunrise when it was completely different with the whole valley being blanketed by clouds.
