Shot just North of Sligachan on Skye, mid morning. After a long period of drought the weather finally broke with periods of heavy rain and strong winds. Weather worse for camping but probably better for photography.

Ken, the light on the violet heather really grabs my eye, it gives the scene tremendous depth. It's a really fine composition, thanks for braving the wet weather and capturing it.

Lovely foreground light opposed to the misty Cuillins behind.... and a splendid Skye sky. Changes by the minute. Nice shot.

Love the layers to this from the foreground violet through the light and shade middle ground to the hills and sky.
