rich in tonality texture detail and enough contrast with which to distinguish details and not lose the drama, very good!

Beautifully done. Some subtle tone mapping going on? The B&W emphasises the composition I think. Outstanding, like a lot of your stuff.

No tone mapping Jonathan, I just a used the B&W facility in Lightroom + some selective curves.

This is a stunning B&W shot, Kris - fabulous tonal range, great use of perspective and with beautiful movement in the water. I also like how the sky and water almost merge.
